Remeber Me....
So this is a bit of a different entry from the last one....but before I write it, I would like to thank everyone for the comments (private + public) and once again thank everyone who read it. Yes the entry was deep, but this one will be as well.
After work yesterday I decided to go and buy "Remember Me" on DVD, not knowing anything about it. The most I've ever seen is the trailer I got on my Region 1 copy of "New Moon" and I heard about the mixed reviews with the sad ending.
I decided to lock myself in the bedroom, cuddle up in my blanket and watch it.....Luckily Russell gave me a box of tissues (not only for the Rob P sex scenes) because within the first 3 minutes I was already tearing up. Those tissues were definitely needed through the movie and especially at the ending (Ok...I may be holding back some emotions that needed to be let out)
I decided to make my housemates watch it tonight and see how they felt about it....The twisted ending left everyone..like me, speechless....Some may say its borderline offensive...but some might say it's what makes the point of this whole movie...To an extent I agree with both...but the movie did make me think.
It reminded me that you have to live life to the fullest, don't take anything you have for granted and that you will not know what may happen tomorrow.
Tell your loved ones you love them and be true to your friends and most of all, yourself.
Lastly, don't hold back on experiencing every moment, feeling, and emotion that you desire.
With this, I am going to bed...but I will post a few quotes from the movie which I found moving...
