Saw screening of RSC/BBC/Illuminations filmed for TV - Hamlet with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. It is superb. If you saw it on stage you will totally recognise it and yet they have also filmed some scenes on location. Well today was a crap day made awesome at the end thanks to Kevin Spacey and company in Inherit The Wind @ The Old Vic theatre. BRILLIANT. I am going to focus on this, not the crap stuff now that I am off to bed.

Went to the theatre last night with missy_manic and Phil to go and see Speaking In Tongues. Yes, because John Simm is in the cast (sorry, we're that predictable.) So Sunday I went to BBC to see filming of an episode of Miranda - new BBC sitcom comedy starring Miranda Hart. You may have seen her in Not Going Out or Hyperdrive, or the radio if your a radio listener. Really good fun. Sally Phillips is in the cast playing Miranda's annoying posh sister. :) Hope it does well when it airs as I like Hart a lot ( Read more... )

Booo! that Jessica Hynes and Stephen Mangan did not win the Tony's that they were nominated for :( but yay! for The Norman Conquests winning Best Play Revival. :)

Billy Elliot swept the boards - it really isn't the best musical I've seen IMO but meh each to their own. My opinion is probably an unpopular one (I prefer the movie).

Yay! Is it autumn already? Kevin Spacey set to perform on stage in the play Inherit the Wind @ the Old Vic.
