Obligatory holiday photos :)

Train station, I think that rusty old thing is the old coal storage for the trains?

The historic area of town has beautiful cathedrals:

But one of them was a little scary - it has kept the decomposing skeleton's of those who served the church many many years ago... on display....

And it being Easter the town put on a retelling of the crucifixtion of Christ

And we visited an olive oil factory in a nearby town... like you do :P (this is classic of my mum, I once also completely randomly visited the Sun Maid Raisin factory on holiday in the USA because we happened to get stuck in the area where it was and needed something to do (this visit was a planned one though!)

Views from the roof of the apartment we stayed in:

Photos from the surrounding towns:

Grotte di Castellana - basically caves - MASSIVE caves, the place was like any planet visited on Star Trek TOS on a BIG scale. We walked a distance of 2km underground in the cave. Amazing. More info here.

More coastline from other towns:

Link to photo album: HERE.

My only regret is I should've taken photos of the food -the food was amazing. I tried octopus and shark for the first time, loved both.
