Harringay Food Festival
@ Green Lanes, North London. I love this street - so multicultural and full of history. And today was the first Food Festival to celebrate the area. The road was closed to traffic for street stalls of mainly food, and some others for local business, events, info. I hope they do another one. I witnessed a great steel band from a local school, and what I think was Greek? (in all honesty I don't know what language it was but it doesn't matter when the music is good) music and street party that *everyone* got involved in the dancing including community volunteer workers, and the staff from the Polish bakery from which this party was taking place outside its entrance. Fab.
