I have been without the interwebs for a few days now. We switched accounts and Shaw for some inexplicable reason first made an appointment to come in, and then cut it off. *shrug* I've been working and sleeping anyway, and it's hooked back up tomorrow morning.
Yes, for you local folk who pay attention to the news there was a accidental, not premeditated murder at my work. Surprisingly it wasn't in Intox where the violent things tend to happen when they do, it was at a satellite location we maintain for sober transient guys. Nonetheless I was supervising Intox and the subsequent satellite death and arrest, EMS and police, and the shutting down of that building for forensics, all meant like 125+ guys had to be transported and have room found elsewhere. It was a long, weird night.
Though speaking of work I've been promised another "huge" raise before March and this is good obviously. I'm still pretty sure I'm leaving but I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.
I bought a beautiful new mix-board! Pretty much just because I could and I've got music hardware on the brain. It's a brand-new Pioneer board which suits my Pioneer decks beautifully! It has the "world's first" in-loop sampler. Plus it has 7 onboard effects and equalization. In other words it does some seriously fancy shiza! I've put up a few mixes here and there, but expect many more soon, I'm excited!
