this world goes up in flames
Ahhh feels good to be on days off. Work was-you know, okay. A couple of days ago we heard there had been a stabbing next door. And then later that night 2 different guys came in at different times and independent of each other, who'd each been stabbed in the face. The second guy had it much worse. I'm not sure if he lost those teeth via the boot fucking he got along with the stabbing-or if the knife which split his mouth like that went in so deep that it took teeth with it. Either way he was covered in blood, and the poor kid was so panicked when he stumbled in, that we almost literally had to tackle him to get him in a chair and assess him for more possible stab wounds. Also to if not outright stop his bleeding, then at least to localize the mess to one small patch of floor while we waited for EMS and the cops. I don't know, that's one of the more interesting stories of the usual I could ramble about. Really I'm curious how my next cheque will look with all the main supervising I'm doing lately. It better be good /stress
I also had a coworker get poked with a needle. Needless to say he ain't happy. I mean that's the nightmare really. We know whose needle, and we know said client is Hep_C positive unknown on HIV. Really HEP is more the nightmare than HIV, HEP lives for days outside and on surfaces.

I'm in a great mood today however. That domesticity I mentioned in my last post shows no signs of abating. Actually it's getting much worse. Yesterday I made a pot-roast and potatoes and corn and stuff. Really I'm just testing the waters and next time maybe I'll try something fancier. WTF cooking? It tastes good though!
I'm going for lunch with Daniel Servomech real quick here, and my coworker Randy is supposed to come over later to help me hang a very heavy picture. I haven't seen the lovely Torilicious in forever so we're going to hang out and I'm excited.
Speaking of domesticity I think there's no getting around buying a digital frame. It would just be cool to have it mounted on the wall with hundreds of different pictures scrolling past. Given my mood you'd probably glance at my wall and see much bomb shelter bunkerness flashing past. My growing collection of fallout shelter/cold war memorabilia is growing rapidly. I pretty much intend to turn my apt into a '50's art_deco bomb shelter; I've got my funky couch, I've got my jukebox, and the wall-art is coming. And what else? Ideas people! Shut-Up! I make an awesome Post-Atomic-Hipster!
I was looking at old playlists I have hundreds and found this ancient one. I assume it was in my first year at the Warehouse? I don't know but it was my birthday! And old playlists are fun!
