things wot I have decided to do

not to be mistaken with New Year's Resolutions as I don't do those... I just happen to have made a resolution decided to do things from January 1st 2 days ago...

1. As the last day of paid work I did was June 24th and I am now down to just less than 6 months worth of savings, I have drawn up a financial plan which pretty much means not buying stuff or spending money.  Everything I need has been put into a spreadsheet and I am giving myself a weekly allowance.  That is it.

2. As I love running (and it happens to be free), I'd like to make some head-way to getting to running 10k twice a week.  This will take some time, but for now I want to run 60k in January and then up it by at least 5k each month.  I'm pretty much running 5k - 6k per run at the moment.  So far I've done 2 runs this year - one just shy of 6k and an accidental 7k which I won't be repeating.  I'm also starting to use the exercise bike at they gym again and I want to do a 10k cycle each week (first one done today).

3. I am going to go on lots of dates.  If I get the end of 2011 still single, I don't want it to have been because I haven't tried.

4. Whilst not doing paid work, I want to start writing articles that will eventually be part of my company website.  These will range in topic but will be within the Change & Transition arena.  I want them to be well researched and use-friendly.

I'm not putting down finding paid work here as I haven't just decided to do it - I love freelancing and you gets the highs with the lows - finding the right contract can be hard, can be easy, but as long as you keep doing positive things, it'll all work out in the end.

hello 2011 i've decided we should be fri
