Rough Trade Project - Like the Air Before a Storm (MCU)
After a rough (ha) go in April, I decided to try the Rough Trade challenge again in July. What can I say? I'm a sucker for torture. I totally forgot to post this before the challenge started, and now we're in the home stretch. Oops. Well, at least you'll be able to read the whole thing at once instead of waiting for each part to drop. Silver linings, right?
This is a Bucky Barnes/Darcy Lewis story. The focus is paranormal romance, and so far... there's not a whole lot of romance going on. I'll probably lean more into it in edits, because I've just been focused on keeping up my momentum at this point. The word goal for this story was 25k. Predictably, I've overshot that, and after edits and proofing, it'll likely get larger still. /shrugs/ You knew I was wordy, right?
