These are the ones Nikki picked out for me longs ago:
Fell in love with the potterpuffs comics when I first got into HP fandom. And of course I got into HP fandom cause of Snape. Just loved this pic and wording. Used to use it for any happy comment or post, and still do sorta. XD
Hee, fell in love with the original Boom De Yada commercial. Then I found this before I saw the actual xkcd comic. It's pretty awesome. I haven't really found a good Big Bang Theory icon I've liked and the one real good sheldon/penny one, it's too large of a file size and been too lazy to try and optimize it. So this? Stands in for any time I need to use TBBT or show off a bit of geek/nerdom or overall love to a story/art/post.
Watch it. Watch it again. It's the mutherfuckin' truth! HEE. Yes.. From becoming a Snape fangirl in HP to a Bones fangirl in StarTrek... I was always a Trek girl my whole life (never really ever cared for Star Wars) and while I have closer ties to TNG and DS9, I did used to watch all the TOS, and never realized till the new movie and reading up and watching the old, that Bones in any carnation is a sexy, snarky doctor. I think I'm drawn to snark and accents and grumpy men lol. I use it for any kickass Bones fic I find or just when I want to put some oomph to a comment hehe.
Shortly before the final book came out, everyone was debating online whether or not Snape was really evil and stuff. During a Lupin/Snape chatroom chat, someone joked that they believed in Snape's goodness and clapped ala Tinkerbell. And then everyone was struck by innovation to make Snape versions of Tinkerbell. I drew that and call him Snaperbell. XD Cause never lost faith in Snape! =D
Was my default icon for a while. I love it cause I love anything related to the moon, and how in Japan they see a rabbit in the moon instead of a man. Just seems wistful with the rabbit staring up. Very calming I think.
