I really really want a cute little pleated plaid skirt, but I can't find any the right length. I either find 'em in a boring granny length that's almost to my knees (usually intended to be a below the knee style, given my inseam) or so short my ass is practically hanging out. So, I am growing a sour dough started in my fridge right now. I am not sure if I'm doing it right, but I'm trying. It got a special square jar with a bit of chalkboard area on the front to label it. Wee.

So, now that I'm actually following through on my alter the stupid unisex t-shirts to fit me project, I am finding two things. One, I am ending up with extra scraps of fabric from the t-shirts that have no use once the alterations are done.
