I've been enjoying my current LJ style for a little while now. It's awesomeness to have a guy in a band I enjoy being all friendly with my adorable little frog purse, but I think it's time for a new style on my LJ.
Partially, this is because the black background gets in the way of various geeky RPG related image exchange when planning out bits for

Wow, now that I finished changing my journal's appearance, those color boxes you used in your comments to show off icons and such really are scary looking. :-P

Rebel Storvik has less control of his emotions than his analogs. Like I said before, a lot of times my characters say a lot about themselves by what they say or how they say it. How about we save the "Vicky" for the end of the storyline, when Rebel Storvik gets left behind and the mirror universe fades to black. Call that the insult added to injury, heh heh.
Storvik probably wouldn't show any reaction, or would politely emphasize that his name is "Storvik".
Evil Storvik, who has (slightly) more "people skills", might interpret it as a sign of friendship/camaraderie (plus, he's already used to nicknames, like "Evil" Storvik) and go along with it. In fact,
Diziara probably feels closer to the Evil one (after the barfight) so odds are he's the one she'd be more likely to give a nickname to, anyway.

Spiegel will be a little unset to lose the sonic screwdriver, but I can turn that into a plot point to torture him by way of Corey later. Brilliant. :D Maybe Spiegel just handed the sonic screwdriver over to Vicky* without paying much mind while they were working on acquiring the parts they need, and never realized he failed to collect it back. Spiegel and Diz could have been exchanging commentary about the sorts of things the Doctor did with the thing in the show, but in such a way that Vicky doesn't realize they're talking about a piece of entertainment, and actually thinks that the sonic screwdriver can do all those things. It'd be smashing if he actually holds the sonic screwdriver to someone's head as if it's a weapon, then acts confused when he gets his ass handed to him anyways. We could add insult to injury if Diz quips "Well, I bet the bearded Storvik could turn that thing into a weapon, he could hold off a brute squad with but a handful of peanuts!"
I'm going to have Travis turn coat at some point, and basically end up unwelcome on Terok Nor. Since Vicky is also going to help the crew out, it seems likely he won't be openly welcomed on the station again either. The two could agree to some sort of alliance to watch each other's back, etc at the end of this, and the naming him Vicky could just be the cherry on top, after he agrees to it, as we fade to black. :)
*Yeah, from here on out, I will call rebel storvik Vicky, just because it's less of a mouthful. Diz will probably joke with "Evil" Storvik about calling him that, but I doubt it'll stick. She'll find something else to call him.

So, who is in charge of Terok Nor now? The Rebellion or the Alliance? What's Travis' position there?

The rebellion currently holds Tarok Nor. Trav's part of the engineering department, which is under the command of Noelle's doppelganger. We're going to meet her soon.

I don't get to vary my characters as much, since we haven't found a universe yet where Vulcans have pink mohawks.

Well, you could blame it on a practical joke. Maybe have the holo-emitters on the Murgatroid get "fixed" by someone helpful. Oooo, I have ideas. *grin* I'll tell you more once I've had time to ponder on it.

The last time Khan messed around with hair, on Ifix, it turned him canary yellow. Since he's using that as a base for the Storviks' request, we've already determined that strange color and placement of hair are possible side effects for the Storviks to look forward to.

Awesome, I look forward to seeing the end results. *grin*

I feel sorry for "Evil" Storvik when he runs into Diz next, Dude hasn't encountered her since the night of passion with Ryan. She could be inclined to rib him about it without actually admitting she knows about it. *grin*
I don't remember, does Diz know that the two Storviks produced T'Sorvik? I know Diz has met T'Sorvik, but I don't remember if she knows of the unusual circumstances of her birth.

I don't know if Diz was told directly about T'Sorvik (we were going to have T meet Diz's cat, but I don't think that ever happened. Yet.) but she could still have heard about it over the SB668 grapevine before she left. The Storviks are pretty open about her parentage, when asked.
