My mother and her boyfriend are the ones who introduced me to Norah Jones, but I think it is Radio Scrap that truly cemented my love for her music. When I still worked at that hell hole, I was subjected to DVDs full of music videos the last nine months to a year I was there. The music videos selected were mostly pop crap with vocalists who couldn't sing, musicians who couldn't play, or just really annoying whiny lyrics (there is one song that makes me want to murder people, and the only lyric I can remember from the song was something along the lines of "So you had a bad day"). At any rate, occasionally something okay would come along, and give me a two to four minute break from the commercials and crappy music videos.
There was once some Santana (though he was playing behind some kid who wasn't that good to listen to, but it was Santana, so I could overlook that), and another time there was some Jimmy Buffet, and I even got some Rolling Stones once, though you really didn't want to *watch* the video, since Mick Jagger was uglier than ever even if he could still sing well enough. However, the highlight of the DVDs was the Norah Jones - Sunrise video.

I'd been meaning to dig up the video on youtube for a while now, and did so today after talking to Gale, as he'd mentioned some horrible Arby's commercial involving monkeys (search for it if you like, I'm not embedding it here) and my desire to watch a train wreck made me look for it. I had to make things better after watching that commercial, so I went and found me the Sunrise music video. That would have been the end of it, except I was talking to
akumatatsu61 on IM, and he admitted he had some music video stuck in his head, so I offered up Sunrise for him to dislodge the other one with and I started looking at Norah Jones videos again. I eventually came to What Am I To You, and felt the urge to share it, so I'll embed that one too. It makes me think of someone, but I'm feeling like being vague and waiting to see if he catches on, so this is all I'll say about it.
