(no subject)
so my dressmaker never sent me my dress back, or the bridesmaids' dresses. he went completely AWOL.
he did, however, respond to my email requesting my money back, saying he'd get it to me and he's sorry it didn't work...uhh?
i made an emergency trip to a bridal shop in town. the owner gave me a great deal on a piece off-the-rack, and they had it altered in 2 days!
so amazing. i actually like it more than my old dress, even though it's nothing like it! it looks great with my cowboy boots.
here are our invitations:

we have this thing for pigeons, and our graphic designer friend did these for us.
we put a piece of black lace between the invitation and the RSVP card
and sent them out in dark red envelopes instead of the standard "vistaprint" white.
we had our guests RVSP online on our wedding website and i highly recommend it!
good for the environment, good for your nerves!
the ceremony and reception decoration is all wrapped up. we accomplished our minimal-flower goal.
tons of candelbras in our church (an old truck depot/warehouse), and vases with cranberry beads at the reception (old bistro).
overall, i am very pleased! 18 days to go!
