i'm not quite sure if this has been asked in the past here, but i'll give it a go..
i'm sure you've all seen the latest 'scene' necklaces

anyone have any ideas on how to create these on your own? people have them selling from $20-60 and i'm more about the diy than the buy-it-for-triple-the-amount

people claim the material to be "acrylic" OR "perspex"
some use shrinkydinks to mimic it, but as you know it's not good quality..

help meeee! it's driving me up a wall. ha.
