I am in the midst of creating a little post partum kit for my older sister and her first baby. So far I have made 8 overnight/post partum pads, 10 regular pads, and 7 pantyliners. I have also made 5 sets of breast pads, but am unsure of the needed absorbancy as I have never used them. Currently they are two layers of cotton terry with flannel on each side. I don't have any PUL or any money, or I would have used some of that too.
Will these even be useful or should I use them to buff shoes or something?
For her baby I have made 10 bibs (flannel with terry cloth middle) and 6 burp cloths (flannel with diaper quilted in middle).
I will post pictures when my sweetheart returns with the camera and the end of semester craziness is over.
Thanks.
