Last Sunday I went to Laura's Hawaiian party. Me, party? Yeah, I know what you're thinking. It started at 3, but I arrived fashionably late. I was the last person there, unless you count Adam which I wouldn't because he got there like 4 hours late. And he only lives right down the road too. Shame on him. Well, besides me and Laura, it was Adam, as you already know, Jon, and Victoria. When I got there they were picking out some music from upstairs, I'm still not sure what and it's almost a week later.

Well, we started off in the living room, eating of course. I swear, Laura's mother makes so much food. It's like she wants to fatten us all up or something. There's always so much to eat at her house. Skittles, potato chips, vegetable dip, bread dip. Skittles, of course, are perfect for throwing at each other. I think that makes them all the more appealing. And of course, since Jon is playing his guitar, you all want something to throw, no?

Well, to appease Jon we watched Legally Blonde. What is it about gay guys and ditzy movies we shall never know. I personally don't really like the movie much having seen it way too much. There's only so many times you can watch the bend and snap before getting tired of it. Well, better than the Fox and the Hound or the Sandlot. Sometimes I don't know these people, are they really in high school or what?

After Legally Blonde, we watched some Love Hina. I found it slightly boring because I've already seen the beginning to the series. Love Hina is one of those animes that you can't really watch more than once. I don't know, maybe I'm just not into the stuff that doesn't have violence and red stuff (blood) and that kind of thing. Comedy and romance just aren't my style.

Sometime during the series we had pizza, cheese, and Adam showed up. After this events took a turn from watching stuff to actually doing stuff. No, no dirty thoughts. We did the limbo with a stick made from rolled up cereal boxes. It was kind of bendy and loopy, making for an interesting limbo bar. I'll admit it, I really suck at doing the limbo. I almost crashed into the tv twice. Being tall and badly balanced just doesn't make for a good limbo player.

After limbo came, horrors upon horrors, karaoke. Remind me to never again attempt to sing karaoke before 9 o'clock. I'm just not hyper enough. Jon did a Shania Twain song, the man I feel like a woman one. It was kind of funny, really suits his personality. Which is of course, why he sung it. I personally am horrible at singing and definitely to shy to do it in front of an audience. I already know my voice is horrible, no need to hear it out of a karaoke machine. So I tried a Beatles song with Laura. Why Beatles? Because there's only like one word. Blah, blah, blah . . . blah, blah, blah. Yeah, so it was the cheapest attempt at karaoke ever. So what?

After the others somehow managed to escape singing, darn them, what is their secret, we switched to playing Twister. Yay, this is still one playing field I rule. Managed to win the first round, second round Jon decided to play. It probably would have ended up being a tie, but I won by default because Laura started to play "It's raining Men" so Jon stopped twistering and starting dancing. After that it was a general dance session, with a little bit of Max's song. I won't quote it here for pure stupidity, but yeah, we danced that for a minute or so. I can't believe it's still alive, he made that up in Miss Silver's class last year.

After dancing, we had . . . ice cream cake? In the middle of February? I avoided the ice cream. The guys had to leave, they couldn't sleep over, so we retired from hyper activities and watched some more Love Hina. After a while, Victoria was getting tired so we went to sleep. Sleeping on one third of a couch is hard, felt like I was sleeping in a twister position all night. It was freezing too, so I stole the extra blanket. lucky me, huh. Everyone else couldn't sleep because they were too cold. Just goes to show you have to show the initiative and get what you need before someone else takes it.

In the morning we had hot chocolate and blueberry muffins, watched cartoons and Love Hina. Didn't do too much overall. The pregnant cat escaped so we had to go chase her down. She was sleeping under the couch so we let her be. We ate some strange taco dip stuff for lunch. Victoria left around one, but I stayed. We played some more Twister, or more like me playing Twister while Laura spun. The one game I rock, yay! Finally she pushed me over and we did other stuff. Played some battleship, I won both times. Pure luck, seems I have plenty of that. Tossed some balls into a basket, it was one of those Hawaiian games that Laura looked up to play. Then we bowled with soda cans. I won again too, due to my extreme luckiness. Finally we watched some more Love Hina and I left later in the day. My grand party for February break.
