Space Cake
The cake (everything from scratch):
-White "rainbow" cake
-Swiss-meringue chocolate buttercream (delicious!!)
-thin layer of chocolate sour cream glaze
-chocolate fondant
-chocolate peanut butter ganache
The only things that weren't made from scratch were the caramel (though I had the brown sugar to make it), melted candy, candy crystals, the Lego figures, and chocolate rocks and other candies on the fondant covered cake board.
The lava didn't turn out as planned but it was another learning experience.
