It's Kovacs like 'ch'.
Hey, you know when you're reading a book and you just fall in love with everything about it? And then, you read it like the world may very well end tomorrow so you gotta make sure you finish it before the Earth goes PUFT!, right?
But then, you're around the last chapter, and you realise "Oh God! I'm not ready to let go, I'm not ready to let go!" because, really, you're not ready to let it go. So you just drag those last few pages for a while, until the end comes, and you feel this empty space on your day.
That totally happened to me this week. BUT!!! My life, sucky as it is, decided to give me a break and I found out that there are 2 (TWO) more books from the same 'Verse!!! YAAAAAAAY!!!
I have just such a HUUUUUGE crush on Takeshi Kovacs right now, you have noooo idea.
So, this is worth reading.
Altered Carbon, by Richard Morgan.
Innovative, violent, fast-paced sci-fi, with a flawed, weird and totally psychotic lead character who I just happen to have a HUUUGE crush on. :)
If you're a William Gibson fan, you'll like this.
And Broken Angels is getting here within this week!!! AARGH! I miss Takeshi already!
