Another Meme: iPod Poetry

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title

"Step Out the Front Door Like a Ghost"

You used to be one of the rotten ones, and I liked you for that
Well, its a marvelous night for a moondance
I can’t expel the truth
Look at that, look at this
That's no way to live, tangled up like balls of string,

I'm so money
I'm on my second drink, but I've had a few before
Pacific Sun, you should have warned us, it gets so cold here
Don't take it, don't take it seriously
Pictures yourself in a boat on a river

It's true, we're all a little insane
It's yet to be determined, but the air is thick
Hear that lonesome whippoorwill
She don't want nobody near, but she can't get away from that
So take one word you said, you put it in your bed

Space monkey in the place to be
Well I've been bleeding well from this old wound
You could have knocked me out with a feather
Elizabeth, she shot the junk
Just let me hear some of that rock and roll music.
