(no subject)
So i realize that i havent updated in a long time, so i decided that i should because a lot has been going on!
lets start with the basics...class
new classes: i have two math classes BLECH! one is actually pretty cool the other one is aweful! but the homework is pretty easy so far, so hopefully itll stay that way!
im taking two classes for my major, again one is sweet the other makes me hate my life. the one that makes me hate my life is this class about special education and the class only meets once a week, so its almost 3 hrs long :( boooo..and the professor just brings in the book, puts it up on the screen and basically just reads it to us...its aweful!
and im taking another history class...its ok...def. not my fav, but w/e after this one im done with history.
umm...onto new and more exciting news...
i bought a car!!! HORRAY!
i wont have it for at least 2 more weeks...not so much horray
but never the less i will have it. its an '06 black grand prix and its incredible! i can't wait to get it!
so if anyone wants a car, my intrepid is for sale....its only $1400...any takers??
but yea, the grand prix is costing me 10,000 plus insurances...so i took out a loan from the bank, and im paying it back month by month.

but as if that wasnt a big enough investment for me, i did something kinda crazy but that im am EXTREMELY EXCITED ABOUT!!! and that is i joined a sorority! YAY!!!
now i know what you're all thinking...oh my god she did not!
but...i did
and i am SO EXCITED ABOUT IT! a friend of mine is in this sorority, sigma delta tau, and i had been thinking about joining one just because i need girl friends in my life again, i seriously dont have girl friends that i can hang out with...i mean i do, but none that i can call up at 12:00 at night and be like wanna make a starbucks run, or "im feelin like denny's...you down" and with this sorority i can!
PLUS they have a house right off campus, and i was totally stressing about where i was going to live next year and if i join the sorority i'll have somewhere to live. their house is really nice and i would have my own room (bonus!!!)
so my friend megan called me up earlier in the week and was like im not trying to pressure you BUT my sorority is having recruitment all this week and if you wanted to come by the house and talk to some of the girls i can tell you when and where, and ill even drive you if you want, so i decided whats the harm right?!
so i went to their hose last night and i met a bunch of the girls and they are so cool!! they're so down to earth and not like wild and crazy sterotypical sorority girls! so later on after i had left they called me back and offered me a bid. (which is a huge deal to get offered a bid on the first night!! but they did!) so i accepted their bid and now i just have to get initated. im seriously so excited!!!
i just hope that i have enogh time for it! i work a lot of hours plus 16 credit hrs and now add a sorority to the mix...oh yea and that boyfriend thing!!! im a busy girl!!
but i get a big sis!! and they have tons of fundraising events like in april they're having their formal on the princess boat thing down on the detroit river...it looks super fun! i seriously cant wait! i couldnt sleep last night i was so excited!
so yea thats that....im a sigma delt!
