Meanwhile just a block away a new singing robot had recently arrived in the digital world and was exploring. He had been told to do an intro post by this digimon but he felt he could do it later. He wanted to get to know this city first if it was where he would possibly be living. Always scope out your environment, that is what the general always said.

"Watch your footing, Tei-chan!" Haku called out again, unable to see from where she was standing just how close Tei was to the edge. Tei didn't really notice, either, thinking she was just as far away as when she had started.

"I'm fine, Haku-ch--"

Tei's voice cut out suddenly, her foot suddenly becoming tangled in the slack end of the wire. She stumbled, the soles of her shoes unable to get good traction on the loose gravel that covered the flat roof. All at once she felt the solidness beneath her leave and the sensation of falling grip the pit of her mechanic stomach. She wasn't sure if she screamed, but some one was screaming even as she went tumbling right off the roof.

Teiru heard that scream and knew it instantly. He ran towards it, his targeting system kicking in to tell him where it was coming from. He looked up where it directed his attention and...there was Tei-chan falling off of a roof! He ran faster and launched himself up off of a trashcan, his arms stretched out. He caught Tei in his arms and flipped forward, landing on his feet. He held his sister close to him with a smile on his face.

"Tei-chan! I finally found you!"

"TEI-CHAN!" Haku cried out from the roof, running to where the girl had fallen in order to look over, certain she would see a mess of a broken UTAU splattered on the ground. Instead she was being held in some one's arms, embraced as if they were old friends reunited. Except... Haku didn't recognize him at all.

"Who... ?" she muttered, blinking several times in confusion as she stared down. Phasco poked his head up from the ledge next to her.

"Friend of yours?"

"I... don't know..."

Meanwhile Tei still had her eyes closed from the fall, convinced she was going to hit the ground and hit it hard. When that didn't happen, though, she slowly peeked one eye open, then the next, staring at the face in front of her in quiet shock.

"... T... Teiru-oniichan..." she finally muttered, a strange sense of uncertainty falling over what should have been happiness at seeing her brother again ( ... )

Teiru smiled down at his sister. She remembered him, that was good. He nodded to her and looked up Ritsu and smiled at her.

"Hello Namine-san. It is nice to see you again too." He looked back to his sister now. "Can you stand Tei-chan?"

"I... I think I can..." Tei muttered, squirming a little until she was able to get out of Teiru's embrace, putting both feet on the ground. Nerves had rattled her enough that she was a little wobbly, but she didn't fall over.

Curious, Haku vanished from the edge of the roof, foot steps echoing in the club as she came down. Ritsu, however, was quickly going from surprise to concern and a little bit of skepticism. He crossed his arms over his chest, eying Teiru closely.

"They said you went missing over a year ago, Sukone-kun. Everyone assumed were dismantled," he stated tersely, then added as almost an afterthought, "... I suppose this counts as good news then, doesn't it?"

Teiru nodded to Tei and helped her down on her feet. He looked over at Ritsu and sighed. "Over a year? Oh my. I was looking for all of you but I couldn't find you. I wasn't dismantled." He smiled and ran a hand through his hair. His partner had finally caught up to him and the metal bug digimon looked from his tamer to the others. Seemed he had found some people he knew. Maybe they had food.

Ritsu continued to look at Teiru with a scrutinizing eye, unable to shake an odd, uncomfortable feeling in the pit of his stomach.

He seems so polite... and I know they only locked him up as a precaution after what Tei-chan did to that tech... but I can't shake this feeling like something is severely off about all of this.

"Well... good then. I'm glad to hear it."

Tei was finally shaking out of her stupor, reaching over to gently touch Teiru's arm.

"You're... you're really here..." she mumbled, eyes tearing up as a smile finally appeared. She threw herself at him in a hug. "You're really here! I thought I'd never see you again, Teiru-oniichan!"

Teiru nodded to Ritsu and was about to say something when he was hugged by his sister. He laughed and wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tight.

"Of course! I'll always be there for you Tei-chan. I'll always find you. How are you? I certainly missed you a lot." He was so happy to see her again. He was worried something horrible had happened but it seemed she had been pulled here. His partner had said something about being brought here to save the world but added most just try to live their lives. Maybe Tei had found a life here?

"You have! I have so much to tell you!" Tei exclaimed happily. Any worry from seeing him again was fading quickly. She was just as he remembered him, and now that she was normal, she could actually enjoy his company.

Ritsu was, naturally, less than convinced of this being a good thing, but he was doing his best to keep quiet about it.

Haku finally appeared in the doorway, leaning around it to look outside curiously.

"Looks normal."

"That doesn't mean much with us, Phasco..." Haku whispered in a hushed tone to her partner, finally walking out to the sidewalk where everyone was gathered.

"About time you got here, Haku," Ritsu muttered, earning a raised eyebrow from Haku. She didn't get a change to question what was bothering the trap android, though, as Ritus launched in to introductions. "Sukone-kun, this is Onizuka Haku. Haku, Sukone Teiru-kun."

"Pleased to meet you," Haku said, bowing a little in greeting.

Teiru smiled down at his sister. She seemed very happy here and that was a good thing. She was also referring to herself in the first person now. Perhaps her coding as fixed? He turned when Ritsu began the introductions and bowed back to Haku before extending his hand for a handshake.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well miss." He smiled politely at her.

Haku blinked, looking at the hand for a moment before taking it in a proper handshake.

"You've been to America, haven't you?" she asked, recognizing the way he greeted by the way her adopted brothers often greeted new people they met.

"... America? What were you doing in America, onii-chan?" Tei asked, clinging to Teiru's arm and looking up at him curiously.

Teiru nodded with a smile and gave Haku a firm handshake. He looked down at his sister with a chuckle. "An American recording company saved me from containment. I was in America for little over a year."

"Oh wow! An American company? That must have been so cool!" Tei gushed, hugging his arm a little more. Ritsu raised an eyebrow at him, but again said nothing to his comment.

"This won't be too much of a change for you then. Neon City is a lot like large American cities," Haku commented. "In fact Rii-chan owns this club here. Tei-chan has been working here for the past few months."

Teiru smiled and ran a hand through Tei's hair. "That is amazing Namine-san. Your own club. I am sure it is very successful."

"It is. Though we're currently working on repairs," Ritsu explained. He didn't delve in to details, but the sudden downcast looks of both Haku and Tei suggested there was much more to the story.
