What: A new arrival gets an interesting surprise
When: August 13th, Afternoon
Where: Looking Glass Club, Neon City
It was a fairly quiet day in Neon City despite the lateness of the day. Looking Glass was preparing to open in a few hours as it did every night, even though for the time being Sai was still missing. Ritsu couldn't worry about it as much as he wanted to, especially since all sorts of new problems had been cropping up after the initial repairs from the attack had been made. Namely that the wiring was now giving them troubles, causing some of the lights to short out at random. Ritsu was about ready to scrap the whole thing, close for a weekend and redo the entire building's system if he had to, but Tei wanted to try and save her big brother some money first and attempt to fix it herself.
Which led to her being on top of the roof of the building with Haku helping her out, threading a cord down through the hatch opening in the ceiling that led up there, a large wooden spool feeding it from the street below. It was sort of a convoluted way to get it through, but Tei seemed to know what she was doing, which meant the other two were left to trust her judgement.
"You got it?" she called out from the edge of the roof to where Haku was standing.
"Yeah, I got it! Please be careful, Tei-chan!"
"I am being careful!"
"Alright. Keep feeding me wire then!"
Nodding, Tei began doing just that, unaware that the more she worked at pulling the wire up, the closer to the edge of the roof her feet were getting.
