"And here I thought something was missing in my life."

A few of the usual light clicks of Pidonus' heels reflected her entry into the hospital bed. Already, her eyes reflected that she was seeing things about Hoshi's emotional state beyond what showed physically - things she was trying to avoid mentioning aloud.

"It's been a while for me... And I'm guessing much longer for you, Hikari Hoshi."

Hoshi's ears definitely heard the clicking of Pidonus' heels and she turned her head a bit. It had been some time since Ryuunosuke left for Kabukimon's and she was filled in by her spirit as to what went on.

"Make that Hikari-Asakura Hoshi, Pidonus."

[pidonus]

"Got it", Pid replied with a smile, moving into the room and into Hoshi's sight fully.

...Not that her appearance had precisely changed much from when Hoshi had seen her last.

"... Looks like whatever happened to you took a lot out, huh?", she asked, taking a seat on the bed (even though there was a chair right next to her). Already, Pid was eyeing much of Hoshi's body, letting both perception and power rebuild her measure of the girl - no, if she really had aged as much as Pid was thinking, woman was definitely the term now - along with how powerful her desires were.

Hoshi's eyes gazed at Pidonus' appearance, noticing that not much had changed since the last time she saw her. She nodded a bit, the movement itself slow.

"In more ways than one, yes," she admitted, her own gaze distant. She wasn't comfortable with sharing all the details yet of what happened to her, but it was just like Ryuunosuke said: when she was ready, she could tell. As far as her body was concerned, she grew up into a beautiful, but yet deadly, woman. Her hair was much longer, her legs longer, as well, and her chest size grew quite a bit as well.

"If you don't mind, I'm not comfortable sharing all of the details just yet," the shaman added on, her gaze shifting to the window.

[pidonus]

"... I can tell that it's a lot," She said, calmly, leaning in to take Hoshi's hand.

"But if you shan't speak of it, I won't push. Not that way, anyways," she said with a light giggle. "It's been... I'd say six months since last I saw you."

[soul_on_light]

"Ah, I almost forgot what species you were. I'm sorry," the shaman apologized, not minding that her hand was taken. It was better from when Ryuunosuke put the lotion on her hands and arms, though.

"How do you mean?" she inquired next, tilting her head just a tad. "It feels like it's been longer."

[pidonus]

Pidonus grinned for a second at Hoshi's remembering. "For you, it has. Unless your shamanic powers happen to include spells for making yourself taller and bustier."

She rubbed a thumb against Hoshi's palm a little - while it was a massaging motion on the muscles, she was really trying to get a feel for the girl's weariness - not just in the immediate state of hospitalizing dehydration, but in larger senses.

"... And I'm getting the sense it feels like longer than even that."

[soul_on_light]

"Not really," she said, a lighthearted smile on her face. "They're only limited to ghosts, spirits, and demons, anyway, and some spiritual sense."

What Pidonus was trying was definitely something her mind, as tired and strained as it was, worked on blocking. She said she'd speak about it when she was ready. As of right now, she didn't feel comfortable with delving into sensitive topics.

"...Seven to eight years for me. I'm now twenty-five."

[pidonus]

"Oh, so you can make Reiko taller and bustier, got it," Pid joked. As she felt the resistance, she quickly stopped, recognizing that she had moved a bit too far.

"... Twenty-five, jeeze. And here I am still just four. Age sure is a weird thing when you go beyond one species..."

[soul_on_light]

"Um, well... not really. I can just use her to draw out my shamanic abilities, as well as materialize her wings as a shield."

Thankful for her stopping, she relaxed a bit more into her bed, sighing a little.

"My soul's definitely feeling the age, I gotta say."

[pidonus]

"Meh, you're still young and in your prime. Once we've got your dehydration recovered, I'm sure Ivan will have you back in top shape in no time."

Pid smiled at Hoshi leaning back. "... And until then, we just need to keep your mood at its best. You're home, in one odd sense of the word, after all."

[soul_on_light]

Well, Pidonus? You just did the opposite of that. Completely.

She seemed to have sunk in her bed at the mere mention of her Vice Commander's name. Any and all color drained from her face.

"T-Taiyounomaru... Why did you m-mention him?"

[pidonus]

Pidonus blinked. "... It's not like he's... Never mind."

She blinked, reaching into a pocket absentmindedly. "... Do you play hanafuda back in your native world?"

[soul_on_light]

Oh, Hoshi felt a headache coming on. It was something she definitely didn't want, either.

"Yeah, occasionally."

[pidonus]

Pidonus blinked a little. Okay, better to just keep the line of thought going.

Pulling the cards out, she looked around for a tray or something. "Koi-koi?"

[soul_on_light]

"Sure."

Hoshi motioned to the small pan that had the jug of water and a cup on it for a tray in which to use.
