"Just try to rest," Ryuunosuke told her quietly. He stayed close to her side, not wanting her to have to look too far. He could tell that she was still in pain, that she was still tired. It was why he had brought her here.

"We're in the Asuka Hospital. I found you after your comm entry," he spoke, "I brought you here as quickly as I could."

Hoshi grunted softly in pain, biting down on her lip. Finally, her eyes got used to the bright, fluorescent lights of the hospital room she was in.

"You... did?" she asked, her voice still very quiet. The IV drip she had definitely helped with her throat. "Thank you, Ryuunosuke..."

A ghost of her usual vibrant smile was on her lips, but it definitely didn't hold its' usual weight or brightness, however.

"I wish there was a way to turn down the amount of light that the overheads give off, but I can't," he told her apologetically. He knew what it was like to be in the hospital - even if his stay had been brief.

He reached over to the stand by her bed, pouring her a small cup of water. He moved it over to her lips, not sure if her strength was back enough to even hold a small cup of water. "Here," he told her, "this might help with your throat."

"It's okay. I've... been around natural light so much that fake lights are... hard to get used to again," she admitted, nodding just a bit to him. She honestly thought that she'd be done with hospitals for the rest of her life.

Her head turned slightly, glancing at what he was doing. Water. It was the best thing out there to drink and helped out tremendously. She wrapped her lips around the rim of the glass, sipping it down and letting the liquid go down her throat.

"Delicious..."

A little bit later...

[pidonus]

"And here I thought something was missing in my life."

A few of the usual light clicks of Pidonus' heels reflected her entry into the hospital bed. Already, her eyes reflected that she was seeing things about Hoshi's emotional state beyond what showed physically - things she was trying to avoid mentioning aloud.

"It's been a while for me... And I'm guessing much longer for you, Hikari Hoshi."

Hoshi's ears definitely heard the clicking of Pidonus' heels and she turned her head a bit. It had been some time since Ryuunosuke left for Kabukimon's and she was filled in by her spirit as to what went on.

"Make that Hikari-Asakura Hoshi, Pidonus."

[pidonus]

"Got it", Pid replied with a smile, moving into the room and into Hoshi's sight fully.

...Not that her appearance had precisely changed much from when Hoshi had seen her last.

"... Looks like whatever happened to you took a lot out, huh?", she asked, taking a seat on the bed (even though there was a chair right next to her). Already, Pid was eyeing much of Hoshi's body, letting both perception and power rebuild her measure of the girl - no, if she really had aged as much as Pid was thinking, woman was definitely the term now - along with how powerful her desires were.

Hoshi's eyes gazed at Pidonus' appearance, noticing that not much had changed since the last time she saw her. She nodded a bit, the movement itself slow.

"In more ways than one, yes," she admitted, her own gaze distant. She wasn't comfortable with sharing all the details yet of what happened to her, but it was just like Ryuunosuke said: when she was ready, she could tell. As far as her body was concerned, she grew up into a beautiful, but yet deadly, woman. Her hair was much longer, her legs longer, as well, and her chest size grew quite a bit as well.

"If you don't mind, I'm not comfortable sharing all of the details just yet," the shaman added on, her gaze shifting to the window.

There was a gentle knock on the door before it opened and a familiar pair of pink eyes peered in to see if Hoshi was still asleep. "Hey there old lady we're looking for our friend Hoshi, have you seen her?" She teased opening the door all the way and leading Hana into the room.

Hana seemed less confident about entering the room or speaking to the person within it, opting instead to grip at Jinx's skirt loosely, sticking to the teens hip like glue as he eyed the person on the bed warily.

He felt a rush of familiarity but it was quickly suppressed with doubt, among other things. The normally loud, opinionated little boy looked unsure and nervous as he stood silent beside Jinx, looking up at Hoshi.

"Ah..."

Hoshi's eyes fluttered open, disturbed from a rather good nap. She yawned, shaking her head a bit. "Morning," she said in her all too pleasant tone. She then giggled a bit, a small smile on her lips.

"Very funny," she said, her eyes glancing at Hana. For her, the last time she saw him was nearly weeks ago in her world. "Well, you're a sight for sore eyes. Missed me, my nephew?"

She patted the area next her to motion them to come closer.

Jinx kept constant contact with Hana one hand on his back guiding him closer. "It's been awhile warrior woman. You didn't even get to visit us one last time before you vanished. We thought for the longest time you were just happy in Asuka." She moved them closer to the bed doing her best to be warm and supportive.
