Riza glad for the fact that she was alone. With Roy at work and Elicia at school, she could try and get some more sleep. Without having to worry about waking either due to nightmares (Both from There and what happened last week), or her tossing and turning. That plan had failed though, so, with a mug of tea, she'd sat down and started to work on some of the decorations for the party in the afternoon.
She was on her second mug when the knock came. A glance at the time told her that Roy wasn't due to home yet, and Elicia still has a few hours left of school. Shrugging, she stood, raking a hand through her hair.
"What is it?" She stared blankly at the man, resisting the urge to just slam the door in his face. The last person she wanted to see, yes. But she was willing to listen. Somewhat.
Still holding the bow, Sadamitsu tried to be as formal as he could without coming across as sarcastic.
"I sincerely and humbly apologize for my actions earlier, Hawkeye-san. My failure in resisting the virus resulted in me taking inexcusable and unforgivable actions that I did not in any way wish for. I apologize for any harm or discomfort that I may have caused you, and I swear that this will never happen again. If there is anything that I can do to prove my sincerity and make this up to you, please tell me and I will do it."

"..Look at me when you say that." She didn't want to look at him, but with in the bow, she didn't know if he was telling that truth about being sorry or not, and it bothered her. Granted, him showing up like this bothered her, but she was hiding that behind the tired mask. A mask that was of a woman who;d been woken up at dawn by the child she was helping to mind. "Please."
He straightened and met her gaze. He hadn't thought of what a non-Japanese person would think of him bowing, and wished that he had before he'd started. Apologizing once was hard enough.
"I sincerely apologize for any harm or discomfort that my actions may have caused you, Hawkeye-san. My actions were inexcusable, unforgivable, and not how a woman deserves to be treated. If there is anything that I can do to make this up to you, please tell me and I will do it."
His face showed both his sincerity and his own discomfort at the situation.
"... Why?" It was hard not to punch him in the face. Hard, but not impossible. And she really didn't feel like explaining her actions to anyone that might see. "Why would you come here when I could potentially castrate you after that stunt, virus or no."
It didn't mean that she was going to leash her frustration and anger at the whole thing. She knew it wasn't right to use him as a stressball, but Riza honestly did not care at this point.
"Cuz if a man breaks his own code, he's gotta take responsibility for it," Sadamitsu replied, dropping out of keigo and back to his normal speech style. He wasn't used to being formal. "Apologizing's the least I can do. I wanna do something to make this up to you if I can, even if I can't fix everything. It's only right."
"It never should have happened in the first place. If you knew you were virused with that then you should have had someone keep an eye on you." She took a deep breath, grip on the door handle turning into a strangle hold. Dammit, it felt like a million years ago when she was calm, and in control of her emotions. "Or better yet, have turned yourself in so this wouldn't have happened. "
She still gave no sign if she was even considering accepting the apology.
"I only started feeling anything about five minutes before I ran into you. I'd just went out to go to the store. But you're right. I wasn't able to resist the virus, so I'm still the one to blame."
He hadn't gone into this expecting to be forgiven so easily.
"You had enough time to turn around and go back home." He was just making her want to deck him more and more, and her emotional state wasn't much better. She refused though, to give into the urge. "The moment you started to feel it."
If need be, is Hayat allowed to bite him?his_hawks_eyeMarch 8 2011, 03:36:06 UTC
"And yet was there not plenty of hints over the comms as to what was happening? Of the fact there was a another virus going around? Or do you not check you d-comm everyday?" Sorry,. that's almost a snarl there/
"... Aren't you the one who hurt Riza?" Hayate the Zurumon looks even less welcoming than Riza, though he was soon scooped up into the woman's arms.
"I was hearing people yelling and going on about how great they were, but I didn't expect this."
He looked at Hayate. Of course her partner would be with her. He hadn't thought of having to deal with an angry Digimon too. He wasn't going to lie though.
"I should tear your brain out, you pile of Sukamon poop." Rabid partner actually, you would bit Sadmitsu if he could half the chance and Riza wasn't holding him back.
"Hayate, he was under a vir-"
"And that makes it ok?"
"No, of course not, but can't go attacking other tamers. No matter what." And she's rather not have her partner tama'd if Sadmitsu's partner wanted revenge.
"Let me think... Nah. You hurt the moron." And that, Sadamitsu, is a little yellow blob managing to worm his way free of his tamer and going to bite you now, possible on the arm while Riza flails a bit trying to pull him off.
Sadamitsu clenched his teeth at the (surprisingly large, for such a tiny creature) pain and grabbed Hayate's upper jaw with his free hand, trying to force Hayate's mouth open.
