Rock had finally gotten away from Elec and despite the few hits he'd taken, he felt great, especially about this fight. Once this was over, everyone would know not to mess with him or his family. He'd had to ditch Gaomon back in Meria, the digimon also trying to stop him from coming. But he'd make do with what he had; it's what he did every time he faced Wily after all.

Coming into the clearing, he immediately took a battle stance, his arm shifting into its buster formation. "Cyclonis! You will pay for the trouble you've caused!"

"Oh, we shall see about that, Rockman." With a flash of purple light, her cloak was done and she was in her more sleek battle outfit, her staff now in her hands and fully extended.

"Time for me to break you into pieces as I should have the first time!" She raised off of the ground with an evil smirk, it was time for this battle to begin.

"You have no idea how many times I've heard that," he mused aloud.

The staff would be his main target as he started firing off plasma shots. He'd start off simple and catch her off guard later.

Cyclonis quickly floated to the side and aims her staff at Rock, firing an energy beam at him. The time for words was over, the fight had began.

Rock rolled away from the beam and used his elemental cannon to fire vacuum blades toward her, trying to whip up some air turbulence.

Cyclonis frowned as the blades came towards her. She flew higher and was blown back by the air turbulence. That wasn't something he had last time they fought, she would have to be more careful of those things.

The crystal at the end of her staff turned blue and she fired several freezing shots at Rock, hoping to freeze his arm canon.

He weaved, hoping to avoid them, but was forced to throw up his water shield to block some, the large water drops freezing but continuing to circle him in a protective barrier. Using a defensive weapon didn't stop him from charging and trying to get right under her though.

The shield struggled against the force, trying to hold it back and eventually causing the ice to shatter. A piece of the shield was now missing, but with how the rest of it continued to rotate around Rock, more would have to be taken out before it opened up enough to attack the bot inside.

"Damn you!" Cyclonis flicked her wrist and a familiar red crystal appeared in her hand. She pointed it at Rock and the red energy hand sprang forth from it and flew at Rock, aiming to slam into either him or those shields and hoped to push the robot back.

That was when Rock let loose the shield, each droplet spiraling outward and slamming into the energy hand. Even if it didn't stop the hand, it would make a good distraction while Rock fired at Cyclonis.

Cyclonis was hit, the plasma shots sending her flying back and into a tree. She fell to the ground with a thud. She slowly got to her knees, holding her stomach and glaring up at Rock.

"Pathetic," Rock spat as he strode toward Cyclonis, buster aimed at her.

Rock cried out as he hit the tree, sliding down it to land on his knees. Pushing himself to his feet, he glared back.

"Do you really believe that? Because all I see is someone hiding. Hiding behind that staff. Hiding behind illusions. Hiding behind lies. What else are you hiding behind?" With that said, he charged, firing a barrage of shots at her.

Cyclonis flew back into the air and held out her staff, creating a shield of energy. The shots hit it and seemed to be holding, for now.

"Fool. You think I am hiding? Are you not doing the same with your cannon? Illusions and lies can be more real than you think!"
