Cyclonis continued to glare and gripped her staff tighter. "You are pathetic, not I." Purple energy burst from her staff as she activated her telekinesis crystal. The power latched onto Rock and with a thrust of her staff, she threw the robot backwards towards a tree.

Rock cried out as he hit the tree, sliding down it to land on his knees. Pushing himself to his feet, he glared back.

"Do you really believe that? Because all I see is someone hiding. Hiding behind that staff. Hiding behind illusions. Hiding behind lies. What else are you hiding behind?" With that said, he charged, firing a barrage of shots at her.

Cyclonis flew back into the air and held out her staff, creating a shield of energy. The shots hit it and seemed to be holding, for now.

"Fool. You think I am hiding? Are you not doing the same with your cannon? Illusions and lies can be more real than you think!"

He fired a few more times before stopping, studying the shield from where he stood and thinking of his next move as he spoke.

"I took this cannon so I could face monsters like you and I would do the same without it if I had to. But you, you use your abilities as a crutch. My brother trusted you and instead of honoring that trust, you used it against him! Now that's coming back to bite you and you have no one to blame but yourself."

With that said, he fired a cloud of all things, that slowly floated upward and over toward Cyconis.

Cyclonis's glared at the cloud and brought her staff back. The crystal at the end turned green and the shield fell. She swung her staff, a strong wind blowing from the crystal in an attempt to blow the cloud away.

"I sought to help your brother realize he had more options than he thought. You were simply the catalyst for my message. But I don't need him anymore. And you are an irritant!"

As soon as the shield came down, Rock again opened fire, aiming for her staff. The cloud simply disintegrated against the strong wind.

"Is that so? If that's how you work, you'll end up alone in the end, if you haven't already."

The blasts finally hit their target. Cyclonis cried out as her staff fell from her hand, the top end shattering upon the ground. Cyclonis quickly dropped to the ground, landing on her feet. She glared at Rock, her anger only growing.

"I will tell you the same thing I told another enemy of mine. I have no time for friends. I have a world to conquer!" Moving her hand over the staff it lifted into her hand and before Rock's eyes it completely repaired itself, the crystal even flying back into place to be grasped by those bladed hinges.

"And then what?" Rock flung a Commando Bomb for the ground next to her. It'd latch onto the ground before exploding. "You're pushing everyone away and to what ends? Because those who seek power only do so because they feel they have none!"

Cyclonis struck the bomb with her staff, knocking it away and floating away from it quickly.

"And then this world will be mine. Your foolish notions are meaningless to me. I will control everything. There is nothing I cannot bend to my will!" Cyclonis launched another beam towards Rock, hoping to blast him further away from her.

The bomb flew to the side, then it flew up and turned back for Cyclonis. After that Rock lost his control over it and turned his attention to the oncoming energy beam. It was too late to dodge by then, and he went bouncing along the ground from the blast.

Cyclonis followed behind Rock quickly and landed right beside him. She lifted her staff above her head and sneered down at him. She brought it down, attempting to hit him and discharge a burst of energy with the strike.

Before her staff could be brought down, there was a soft click of the bomb catching up to her and latching on, followed by its detonation. Rock threw an arm up to shield his eye from the blast.

"AAAAAH!" Cyclonis flew over Rock and hit the ground, her staff flying with her and landing right next to it's master. She laid there in shock at what had just happened. Her cape was destroyed and the back of her suit ripped open. Her back was bleeding now and the young empress was in a great amount of pain. With her suit ripped open, base of her collar could be seen. Several needles stuck into her skin and it was obvious she had been wearing that collar for years. She wasn't moving now either, her eyes wide in shock at what had just happened to her.

This time Rock jumped up and, despite the pain he still felt from the beam, attempted to snatch up the staff. Cyclonis didn't look like she'd be getting up anytime soon, but he didn't want to chance it.

"C-Curse...you..." She turned her head, pretty much the only motion she could do at the moment. She glared daggers at Rock and if looks could kill, hers would have. "I...will not...be defeated...by the likes of you."

"It's a bit late for that, don't you think." With that, he started through the motions he usually did with Wily, taking out some rope to tie her up with.
