Everyone was seated and waiting. Greg was waiting to the right of Gilder, (finally) dressed properly in his black suit as they waited for Sabine to enter. Onizuka and Nick stood next to him, dressed in similar suits, though Onizuka had forgone the tie after quite a bit of complaining about it.

On the other side, Haku was in a black and red formal gown, strapless and cut just above the knee, holding a white, red and yellow bouquet. Alex and Maddie were also in their formal clothes, Maddie's a lacy white with red trim, and Alex's a plain black suit. Alex held the rings on a pillow, and Maddie had rose petals in a basket.

All in all it was the ideal setting, even if the crowd was a little on the small side. Greg didn't mind, though. It was the fact that it was happening that counted.

Today was the day she was going to be wed.

There were many times that she thought she never get to this day, what with everything happening so far in her life.

But, now wasn't the time to dwell upon that kind of stuff. No. Today was a day filled with nothing but happiness all around. She truly felt like she could move on.

Well, now's not the time to have cold feet, Sabine, she told herself as she shook her head. Her black hair was done up in a very stylish ponytail and she had a small crown in her hair as well. In addition to that, she had a veil in her hair that hung down her back.

As for her wedding dress, she had on a mostly white dress with black decorations all around it. Even the folds of where her gown was had black decals on them. Had she cared about the scars that were revealed on her shoulder, she would have covered it up. Although, right now? She didn't care. Her automail was a part of her and it made her stronger as a result. She had on a silver necklace that held a special alchemical symbol as the charm -- the ( ... )

Greg's face practically lit up when he saw Sabine enter, Roy in his military uniform walking her down the aisle while smiling fondly at her. He did, however, pass Greg a look that basically said 'you are a very lucky man, Sanders'.

Even Nick seemed to agree with that, letting out a quiet 'wow' at him. Greg just grinned wider, waiting with his heart hammering in his chest for her to arrive at the front of the aisle.

Gilder stood back, admiring Sabine as she came out of the state room. He was honored to have been made a part of this, and he had no issue whatsoever with allowing his ship to be used for this. His crew was on their best behavior, serving as event staff. They had security, ushers, even a somewhat talented band playing a wedding march as Sabine came down the aisle.

He smiled widely, and reached up to straighten his glasses as she approached. He wouldn't do anything to steal the show here. There would be time for that at the reception. This was their day, and he was going to make sure they enjoyed it.

Reception whoshotsherlock December 22 2010, 03:09:56 UTC
((ooc: The reception is where everyone can mingle, dance, eat, whathave you. Don't worry about posting order or anything here. Just go nuts!))

Music blared over the speakers in the ball room of the Hyperion, people mingling about, dancing and having a generally good time. The wedding had gone off without a hitch, and the newly weds were having a grand time, dancing with their children goofily in the middle of the dance floor. Needless to say, it was quite the party.

Riza was around the reception, having not actually gone to the wedding. Not because she didn't - she did, but as she felt she didn't know the couple well enough. She smiled a little at the dancing couple, mingling near the food. She herself was clad in a black sleeveless turtleneck, a white overshirt, dark navy below the knee skirt and 1-inch high heel boots. Sabine had loaned her the BITs, and she'd vowed to repay her when she had the funds to. Idly, she knew she should get a job, but...

She was enjoying the down time. It was needed, so much so. But that was the last thing on her mind right now. It was time for the festives, and the well wishes for the couple. They really did make a nice couple, she thought as she nibbled on something that vaguely reminded her of Amestrian cooking.

Roy had ducked out for a while to change out of his uniform in to something a little more comfortable (basically black slacks, a nice jacket and a pale blue button down shirt), returning a few moments after the reception had started feeling much less stuffy. Not that he minded looking respectable for Sabine, it was her day after all, but damn if that uniform didn't bother him after going so long without wearing it.

He spotted Riza off to the side rather quickly, moving over and nonchalantly starting to fill up a plate rather than starting off with an obvious greeting.

And yet another difference noted it seemed. She really was going to take the man out shopping and get him some better clothes. Honestly, he was Roy. Surly his foster mother would have taught him better dress fashion than that? Not that she knew much about that part of his life, only that he had a foster family, It was something that she'd overheard once back when her father was still alive. But for now, she simply let it slide.

"How did it go?" She knew he'd gone, but not in what role.

"THAT'S MY DADDY!" Hanako called out from the audience, while standing on a chair and clapping. Though it had been explained to her before, she was still very ...

Well, let's just say, she was still learning about what a wedding and reception were. All she really knew right now was that her daddy was onstage.

Onizuka gave her a big grin and hopped off the stage scooping her up. "Come here you adorable little bundle of cute!" He buried his face in her tummy blowing raspberries.
