What: An old face with a new story.

Where: Neon City; Natsu Mizu-umi Park
Roy hadn't seen snow since his time in the North several years ago. It always struck him as strange, how something made of nothing but white could turn an entire city beautiful, but then again, he liked to wax the romantic like that. He was sure not many people would agree to the same extent that he thought.
His time in the Digital World had been quiet, even with Hughes and Havoc around. Havoc seemed to content to spend most of his time in Tetha (apparently rumors had it that had a girlfriend, but Roy was of the 'I'll believe it when I see it' mentality on that one) and Hughes had actually backed off on bothering Roy so much since Haku Yowane and Eikichi Onizuka's horribly failed wedding. Before getting data frozen, he'd been spending most of his time trying to help the poor couple back on their feet. A kind gesture, but even Roy knew the two of them were going to have to mend their emotional wounds on their own.
Of course that had been his M.O. in a lot of things - stay out, let things work themselves out. He wasn't sure why he was being so damn standoffish, but he had a feeling it had to do with constant nagging feeling that something was just... missing. Damn if he couldn't figure out what it was, though.
Holding a steaming cup of coffee from a local cafe in his hands, he walked through the park as a little bit of a scenic detour before returning home, the same thoughts on his mind as they were ever day. If he wasn't at work, he was at home, or at that cafe, just sort of drifting through life in that strange world without a lot of direction. He certainly didn't see it changing any time soon, either.
