Who: Ladies, Gentlemen, and Digimon of all ages!
What: Halloween at Carnival Island!
When: Starts at 5:00 PM on the 31st, goes on until sunrise the next morning
Where: Carnival Island

It was Halloween once more, and once again, Carnival Island had been done over from top to bottom. Giant displays of Jack-o-lanterns decorated the walk-ways, and the lighting across the park had been redone into shades of orange and black. Digimon who fit the holiday theme had been employed en masse to wander the park, including Pumpmon, Bakemon, Witchmon, and Goblimon.

The cost of the even had been raised slightly this year, but the gatekeepers were on their watch so that anyone who looked even the slightest bit dressed up were givem sizeable discounts. Maps were once again available, detailing where one could find the parties, the updated rides, Trick-or-Treat Street, and concessions. And once again, details of the layout of any of the more frightening decorations was provided as a service on the back of the map.

The rides on the island had once again been done over; the tunnel of love became a haunted raft ride, the twinkle kart-track had been set up so that tamers could race against seemingly empty carts, the Screaming Aquilamon had been repainted in haunting oranges, blacks, and greys, and once again featured a lengthy delay at the top of the first rise where two actors were waiting for just the right moment to scream their lungs outs and rattle the cars before the coaster was finally sent on its way. There were two haunted houses ready to scare the pants off of any tamers or digimon brave enough to enter. And this year, there was something new. The trailmon network had been gracious enough to allow her to make some modifications; all day, the Trailmon would carry passengers on a haunted hayride to anywhere in the digital world, and there would be plenty of screams to be had by numerous actors along the way.

This year, there were to be three seperate dances. The central dance was, as usual, held in Carnival Stadium, but there would also be another dance for younger tamers to enjoy with heightened security and slightly more subdued themes. In addition to that, the Soul Masquerade would be held at one of the giant mansions that normally housed a series of stores and games throughout the rest of the year.

Security, as usual, was tight. Kat had spent almost a third of her budget on hiring teams that would be prepared to swoop down on any trouble and put a swift end to it.

At 5:00 PM, the gates of the park were thrown open. Halloween had come to the Digital World once again.

(OOC: Okay, I'll be starting threads here for specific events, and Inc will be starting one for the Soul Masquerade, but don't feel the need to be limited to those threads alone! Wanna have some fun doing something else? Go nuts! Pretty much the entire park is set up for Halloween enjoyment. If there are any fights, please call it to the attention of the mods, as security will be cracking down on any trouble ASAP. Have fun!)
