Vyse didn't waste any time. He just nodded to his team-mates, and did a flying leap across the gap between their ships, with Pow landing and evolving next to him.

"Let's go everyone!" he said, spinning his swords and activating his Moonstones. "We're going for the engine room! Lot of ground to cover!"

Letting out a deep breath, Alicia took a few steps back before launching herself off the ship. On the way down, she forced herself to reach for her hand brace and activating its mechanism. "Dream Bracer, DREAM SHIFT!"

Upon landing feet first on an unsuspecting Digimon, her normal clothes were replaced with her armor. Pushing away, she landed on the deck, drawing her own sword as Renamon evolved into Kyuubimon, launching fireballs at the other Digimon.

Ruffnut was close behind hitting the deck at a roll and lashing out with her spear at any Digimon foolish enough to rush her. The Spear's length gave her some range to work with.

Dracomon was right there with her opting to stay in his smaller form for the moment. Coredramon's attacks would more then likely set fire to the ship too quickly for the crew to get off.

And waiting in their path as they made their way to the lower decks... was a number of Buraimon: tall, hawk-like digimon dressed like ronin.

"Oh, time for some serious opposition," remarked Vyse. He leaped into the fray, meeting a Buraimon sword strike for sword strike, while Pow fired off a Fist of the Beast King.

"Seems like things are heating up..." Kyuubimon said, attacking with its fireballs. "Don't get too cocky! This is a first for you!"

"Oh, would you be qui--EEP!" Alicia shouted, bending backwards as Buraimon's sword swung at her. There was the sound of metal striking metal as the blade graced against her suit's chestplate. "HEY! Watch it with that!" She swung her sword at the Buraimon, the two initiating their own sword fight.

Ruffnut barely got a chance to think, What kind of wimpy swords are those? They look like they'd break if you hit them against a dragon. Before one of the Buraimon was ontop of her swinging wildly. Ruffnut blocked with her spear as it was hacked to pieces and she stumbled backward.

"BACK OFF PAL!" Dracomon roared as he shot between the blades and attached himself to the Buraimon's face. He chomped down hard sending the Digimon into an even more enraged flail of blades.

Ruffnut scanned the area quick for a weapon and spotted one of the hammocks hanging off the wall. It would have to do. She ripped the other end from the wall and pulled hard stretching it out to run around the flailing Buraimon. The moment he stepped on it she let go and the ground shifted under him making him fall to the ground hard, his hat and swords bouncing away. Ruffnut seized one and let out a warlike scream throwing herself back into the fray.

"Hah! Clever!" shouted Vyse, as he saw what Ruffnut had managed to do. Nevertheless, he had to concentrate on his own fight, trying to knock down the Buraimon he was fighting so they could advance forward.

Pow let out a roar-like bark, and drew his own blade, leaping in to try and assist Alicia.

"Thanks, don't mind the help!" Alicia said, pushing away her Buraimon and attempting to go on the offensive. Lunging in, the Buraimon attempted to slash at Pow to get to its actual target.

"Keep on your toes, girl!" Kyuubimon shouted. "You don't want the captain to find out you got brought back in a body bag!"

"Would you stop nagging me?!" Alicia shouted.

Ruffnut let out a roar like a feral beast as she hurled herself into the next group of opponents slashing wildly. While her aim wasn't the best and her form needed work her ferocity and speed forced the group to back up and surround her to deal with her.

"H-hey stupid where'd you go?" Dracomon called losing sight of her as the Digimon whipped at her with the flat of their blades. Each one connect with a sharp slapping noise but she simply smiled dangerously and lashed out at each attacker in turn. Blood rain from cuts on her arms and legs but she ignored it. It was all a rush for her.

"I do what I can, Pow!" said Vyse's partner, his cute mannerisms betraying the fact that he was a giant lion man. He attacked the Buraimon with a powerful punch after narrowly avoiding getting sliced.

"Oy!" shouted Vyse. "Ruffnut! Dracomon! Alicia! Kyuubimon! Better teamwork, eh? Give a thought to it?!"

"We're working on it!" Kyuubimon shouted, turning its attention to the Dracomon being attacked, firing fireballs at its attackers.

"I know you enjoy the thrill of battle, but, like my partner said?" Alicia said, joining Ruffnut. "There's no point in coming back in a body bag!" As one of the blades came at Alicia's head, the girl moved it and thrust her sword into the Buraimon. In doing so, her head gear was torn off her head and skiddered to the side, her bare, yet altered, face shown.

"...thank goodness for head gear..."

Ruffnut's eyes narrowed and she lashed out at the Digimon who had knocked off Alicia's headgear. "Yeah yeah teamwork and warm fuzzies. I'll watch your back you watch mine." She lashed out once more backing herself up against Alicia so they could work together easier.

Dracomon however took off flying high away from the fight, was he running? Coward.

"That's more like it!" said Vyse. "Now, let me see what I can add to the table! SKULL SHIELD!"

He martialed the energy of his stones and his own magical power... and a barrier of sorts formed around each and every one of his comrades, protecting them. Though they couldn't see it, this shield was generated by a ghostly Blue Rogue whose essence was tied to Vyse's own.

"PUSH ON THROUGH!" Vyse roared. "My technique will protect you! Trust me!"

"Pow!" roared his partner, nodding as he sprang forward. "It's true! We can break through this way!"

Alicia let out a roar as she pushed through - she didn't care about her headgear at the moment. A new would would be created and as it were, it allowed her to see better without it.

"C'mon! Can't afford to mess this up!" Alicia shouted.

"...says who?" Kyuubimon shouted, joining up with her partner and starting to push forward.

Ruffnut was moving with Alicia lashing out again and again, "These guys just keep coming...and where's that cowardly partner of mine?" She roared over the noise.

SNAP

Death from above as one of the cross beam supports keeping the sails up fell with a crash crushing a handful of enemies. Dracomon cackled from the mast where he'd cut it loose using an Axe.

"Oh...found him." Ruffnut muttered in shock.

"To the Dark Area with this blasted racket! Why haven't you flightless fowl kicked these ruffians off the ship yet?!"

The angry cry came from behind a door, which was promptly kicked open by a large, burly-looking digimon with great tusks. He lowered his head and began thrashing it back and forth quickly. The bladed wings on his head began to glow, and a fierce, scortching wind flew towards Vyse.

"These chicks shouldn't even have left the nest!" Setmon roared. "Teach them a lesson, boys! And don't let them near the engines!"

Setmon deposited himself squarely in the doorway, keeping himself between Vyse's team, and the engine room. The windows, however, produced several gun barrels, as the Muchomon engineers rose up and began peppering them with fire from concealment within the room.
