Daigo lowered his D-Comm and exhaled. That conversation had started about as well as he'd hoped, and if his hunch was right, he'd pressed Tsukasa's buttons. He didn't need to be told that the other man was smart, but the arrogance at work there was beyond anything he'd ever seen. And worse yet, it wasn't quite unfounded. However, he was on the mark with his analysis of Tsukasa's words. Of that much, he was certain. There was definitely something he was missing, he'd be a fool to think he read the situation perfectly... but to have gotten so much WAS far better than he'd hoped for.
And it was enough, he guessed, to have put himself on Tsukasa's radar. More than enough reason to come back in.
"I know you're there, Masaru," he said loudly as he put his D-Comm away, glancing around. "It's time to go back in. I don't intend to go easily, we must speak with our fists first."
Cerberumon, who had been gnawing on a piece of gadget distractedly, sat upright suddenly. "What?!" he demanded. "WE JUST GOT PERFORATED!"
"And we're not done yet," Daigo added quietly.
