Who: Hatsune Miku, open to anyone in the bar!
What: A performance.
When: Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - Early Evening
Where: The Hyperion; Caritas Bar
This was something Miku didn't do nearly enough, she decided. Sure, she'd grown accustomed to performing in the bar; after all, she worked there. But usually when she performed, it was some upbeat, happy song. This was different. This was something she wanted to do, not to broaden her horizons or anything, but ... just because she felt it.
She didn't exactly personally feel the emotions dictated in the song, no; actually, she was quite happy today, and had been for some time. But as soon as the song had come to her, she knew she had to get it out of her system. It happened like this quite often.
So, sitting on a barstool atop the stage of Caritas, one leg crossed over the other, and an acoustic guitar set across her, Miku began to play. She had limited knowledge of how to play the guitar; most of what she'd learned was from Haku. But it was something she'd practiced at, and she was able to play this song as a result.
Her eyes closed, a smile on her lips as her fingers danced over the chords and strummed the instrument in her hands in a pattern she'd played several times before now, in private.
And after she played a few chords, she began the vocal part of her song.
