Vent was walking through the streets in the late evening, wearing a trenchcoat and trying to remain inconspicuous. What was he doing? Walking a beat? Investigating something?
Moreover, he was thinking. Thinking about all of the challenges that he was facing, inheriting Armstrong's legacy. This city was corrupt, and alone, almost as chaotic as what he'd left behind in his own world. And he was already seeing people he cared about suffering...
