What: Going home with complimentary nomnom
When: After ze battle, backdated for my insanity
Where: Tetha - lightpost to Kou and everyone's apartment
Ryo stumbled slightly coming through the lightpost, and almost got pushed over by the next group to come through. Maybe he couldn't see Strikedramon's eyes under his mask, but the look he was giving them couldn't be a good one. Murmuring apologies, Ryo got both of them out of the way before they could get trampled.
His long-forgotten D-Comm beeped then, and he answered it quickly. "Hello?"
"Oniisan, where are you?" Molly's voice demanded in a whisper.
"Just got back to Tetha," Ryo offered, his eyes on the lightpost. "You?"
"Home," Molly replied. "Hotaru's asleep like a sane person, that's why I'm whispering. Hey, does this mean I win?"
Where was Kou? He hadn't actually seen him since he'd saved his ass from the Dokugumon, the showdown with Arachnemon had been that messy. Thus distracted, it took Ryo a moment to figure out what she meant. "...What is this, the FAQ?"
"No, just me beating you and Koushirou home. Don't stay out too late~!"
"Uh-huh, thanks, Mama," Ryo deadpanned. "Go to bed."
The pout in her voice was audible. "Fine. Night, Ryo!"
"Night, Molly," Ryo said, before flicking his D-Comm shut again. He glanced at Strikedramon, who seemed to be balling his hands into fists.
Devolving, Monodramon shuddered a bit and looked up at him. "I might head home as well." The 'to give you two some privacy' went unspoken; they knew each other too well to think either of them could sleep after a battle like that.
Ryo smiled. "Cool. See you at home, then. Don't wake up the girls."
"Hey, I can be subtle," Monodramon protested, giving him a wave as he walked off.
Rolling his eyes, Ryo went back to watching the lightpost.
