As Kenshin inspected the area he may have noticed a rather peculiar feature one of the trees had.

Said feature was a large pink lump sticking out of a hole in the trunk, with a single wriggling appendage.

Faint noises could be heard in the tree, arguing of a sort.

A pink lump wasn't the only thing nearby. Namely, a few meters away was a purple weasel, looking through a pair of binoculars from atop a tree. Eventually, he turned in Kenshin's direction... and caught sight of the pair, causing Nack to narrow his eyes.

This looked like it could possibly be competition.

"...oro?"

Kenshin's keen senses took notice of the sounds rising from the tree trunk... and quickly took note of the pink lump in the otherwise normal tree. "That... is unusual, yes?"

"Talking trees?" BushiAgumon asked. "No. Trees that AREN'T talking trees making noise all on their own, though, yes."

Kenshin raised an eyebrow, and made his way over, squinting at the lump... before reaching out to poke it.

The lump wriggled and the arguing from within the trunk ceased for a moment, followed by a sound that could be easily interpereted as a cry for help as the tiny appendage that was visible began flailing at Kenshin.
