Where: Dokako Jungle
It had only been a day or so since TyrantKabuterimon's post regarding an attack that had erupted within a local village, obliterating many lives in the process. In that time, thanks to the data provided to him by Vyse, Kenshin and BushiAgumon had made their way to the jungle.
What they found in the lush growth was a great deal of patrols, as TyrantKabuterimon's followers were leaving no stone unturned searching for this culprit. There was a fearful distrust of outsiders amongst residents, and it was quite obvious it had only set in within the past couple of days. Even with these strange, foreign creatures called Digimon, that fear was all too familiar to Kenshin's eyes.
"More than likely, if the attacker was wise, they are no longer even in this jungle," Kenshin noted as he and BushiAgumon strolled down a well-beaten path, the rurouni's hand resting gently on the hilt of his sword.
"Then... why the hell are we here?" BushiAgmon asked, scratching his chin with one claw. "We kinda stick out like sore thumbs..."
Kenshin smiled lightly. "Any search starts at the beginning, yes? There may not be anything we could discover at the crime scene, since the local government seems to have taken control of it... but there still may be something worthwhile amongst the trees here."
BushiAgumon sighed, slapping himself on the back of his head, making his helmet rattle. "Yeah, okay. Anyone ever tell ya you're good at bein' cryptic? Never thought you'd be gunnin' for a bounty like this, though..."
Kenshin released a breath and closed his eyes, shaking his head. "You don't yet understand what's going on here, Bushi. But this one suspects you will, sooner than later..."
[ooc - This is pretty much open to... anyone. XD; Primarily, I'm looking at all those many assorted folks that would be converging here seeking that reward, since it's only liable that SOMEONE would end up bumping heads at some point... If anyone wants in here for anything, just poke me in IM. ^_^ ]
