Luka just returned from taking the mentally younger Vocaloids out for ice cream and she looked around for Gaku. Granted, he could take care of himself, like she could take care of herself, but that was no excuse to neglect the happy-go-lucky samurai.

"Gaku?" she asked with worry evident in her voice.

Gaku was out on the balcony, the same place he'd been spending a lot of time thinking at lately. So far Luka hadn't approached him, so when she did this time he nearly jumped, letting out a little 'urk!' noise as he turned around, forcing a smile.

"Luka! Welcome home. Did you have fun with the kids?"

"Yes, I did," spoke Luka as she walked over to Gaku, crossing her arms under her rather large chest. She glanced at Gaku, though, now that she got a better look at his features.

"Something's on your mind."

There was that 'urk' sound again, and a desperate attempt to not stare at what she was making rather obvious.

He scratched at the back of his head, getting his fingers tangled in his hair.

"N-nothing's on my mind! It's just... such a pretty day! I was admiring how nice it is."
