By the time Hoshi came back from checking up on things at DATS, she went to eat some dinner, and then soaked in the hot springs for a good, long while. She had since gotten out and decided to do some stargazing before turning in for the night up on the roof. Her hair was all down and it clung to her yukata that she was wearing.
"Grandfather, grandmother, mama, father... I promise that I'll accomplish my dreams. I won't ever give up." She spoke, but something caught her eye. A patch of silver hair... That had to be Angel, didn't it?
However, she saw him collapse down to the ground and her eyes widened in shock. She stood up and jumped down from the roof to run over to him. She skidded on the ground with her feet and took a look at his body.
Angel heard the faint whisper of a voice calling his name. As he tried to answer, he found that his mouth wouldn't work.
Angel began to dream.
He dreamed of the times he had with Michael and the woman who claimed to be his mother. The lies he grew up around...
Wormmon was still in Angel's room when he noticed the D-Comm on the ground. "Oh no..." Wormmon whispered, and traveled over to it. He heard Angel's name shouted, and he began to worry. What if Angel had killed someone here in town!?
Wormmon grabbed the D-Comm and began to make his way out of the room at a slow pace.
Hoshi swore to herself and she slowly rolled Angel over. The wounds he acquired were... for a lack of a better word, troubling. She shouted at Tailmon to get her first aid kit and the cat Digimon brought it out in no time flat.
She took no time to open it and grabbed a roll of bandages. She saw where his shoulder was and elevated Angel on to her lap. She sprayed some disinfectant on the wound.
Wormmon continued to leave, and finally reached the door. He pushed his way through, and dragged the D-Comm with. He hoped someone would see him struggling and maybe pick him up and ask what was wrong. The small digimon continued, he had a whole set a stairs and another floor to get across before he would be outside.
Angel continued to dream of when he was a child, and the puppy he had taken care of. He had given just a little too much water on accident and it started to choke. It was Angel's fault the puppy had died and he knew he could never be gentle enough to care about anything.
"Fine..."It was nearly a whisper, but none the less a responce. "I still don't see how anyone can stop something... like me." He kept a straight face, and continued to stare.
Angel just sat there and stared for a second. He didn't remember what he had done, and flipped open his D-Comm. There was no new messages.
"Hoshi, I don't even know what I did... I'm not sane." Angel whispered, biting his lip. Wormmon frowned at his tamer, and crawled up onto his own bed near the couch.
"All I remember is that I kicked... wormmon before I left..." He said turning his head away. "I'm sorry I did that to you, buddy."
Hoshi took one of Angel's hands and she placed it to her heart. "F-Feel this? This... this is how much my heart can forgive. I don't think you're a bad man, Angel... You're just misguided. That's all."
A tear fell on his hand, but she squeezed her eyes shut to stop the flow of them.
"Hmm?" He said, opening his eyes wide. "Dammit... wormmon must of shut the lights off... I'm sorry." He said again, he had never said sorry so many times in one day before.
"W-would you like to sit next to me?" Angel asked, making space on his bed next to him.
Angel nodded slightly, and placed a hand under her chin to pull her into another kiss. He wasn't sure how much longer this would all last before he finally passed out from exhaustion, but atleast she knew he had feelings for her now.
And with that, he would keep trying to be good for her. He wasn't sure why he liked her, or why she mattered, but she was a good enough reason to try.
