There was a sudden burst of thick, purple mist in front of Ryo.

And who should emerge from it, but Lillithmon herself, with her usual coy, self absorbed expression on her face.

"Hello there," she said. "It's been a long time, Ryo."

Monodramon growled. He hadn't been there the first time, but something felt off about her, she felt strong, they hadn't had a good fight in a while, and Ryo was on guard too. At a nod from Ryo, he evolved all the way up to Cyberdramon, yett did not immediately attack her.

"It hasn't been long enough," Ryo replied. He didn't quite recognize her, given his memories of their last encounter had been wiped, but it was starting to come back, and he was getting some idea from her tone, too. And in any case, someone poofing in front of him was generally cause for 'do not want'.

Lillithmon seemed to stand... unnaturally still for a moment, but that quickly passed. She advanced towards Ryo, and Cyberdramon.

"Oh, but it has," she said. "I've let you go on too long without bringing you further into my family..."

Noting the odd stillness but with his suspicions and returning memories pretty well confirmed by her words, Ryo realized a whip and his Swiss knife.

"I'm quite happy with my own, thanks."

Ryo hadn't moved yet, so Cyberdramon wasn't about to attack. However, he did get his claws in position to charge up an Erase Claw at short notice, and he was definitely staring Lillithmon down.
