A bar in a port was the natural nesting ground of all sailors. With the Claudia in need of more supplies, and docks with good will being few and far between since his crew's caper in Neon City, Axoryi was the prime location for Gilder to meet Vyse.
The Mermaimon proprieter of this place certainly didn't hurt Gilder's opinion of it either. With Willy on his shoulder and Muchomon waddling beside him, Gilder threw open the doors of the tavern and strode in. Without even pausing for a breath as he reached the bar, he dropped a sack of BITs on the counter and ordered a round for everyone. His social standing was instantly raised in a wave of raucus cheers.
He was in a good mood, it seemed. With a fresh mug of grog in hand, Gilder leaned against the bar and surveyed the establishment for the younger captain whom he'd come to meet. It had been a while...
