It went without saying that Metal Man was sick of all the people he knew. Especially Crash Man and Quick Man... and in particular, the former.
So he'd been spending more and more time away. Nothing said he couldn't work on his own stuff, right? And even he was creeped out a bit by this Dr. Wily. That was fair, wasn't it? I mean, he wouldn't challenge the guy, but he could still find him to be even more of a creepy nut bar than the one in his universe.
Unlike Crash, he knew how to leave more than well enough alone.
"So where are we going?" Tsukaimon asked, as he and Metal Man walked about Neon City's docks.
"I hear there's a guy who does under the table upgrades for mechanical beings," replied Metal Man. "I want him to look at a few things..."
Tsukaimon snickered. "You mean like your crippling design flaw?"
Metal Man shot his partner an angry look. Tsukaimon merely shot him back a raspberry. At this, Metal Man sighed...
... No @#$%ing respect. He never got any respect.
