(no subject)
Went to a party last night with the old elementary/middle school crew. Alli was the only one there who I'd really kept in touch with, so it was awesome to see everyone else. Especially Zak!!!! OMG I forgot how much I love that kid! He said "let's get married and go live in Alaska with the wolves". I, of course, flipped out and said "OMG! I've wanted to do that since I was a little girl!" Zak replied, "Well, yeah, I know. You told me that in 6th grade. Why else would I say it?" I was so ridiculously touched that he would remember some stupid little comment I made in 6th grade! I love that kid!
They had a yankee swap at the party but I didn't know about it so I didn't bring anything. Alli C. split her present with me though so I could participate. I forgot how genuinely nice these people are. The party was...different. There was no booze, pot, or drama. I'm not used to being at parties without those things. There were also 10 girls and only 3 guys. I'm WWAAYY not used to that! I only have 1 girl friend at college and I only had a few in high school, I didn't know how to act. But it was cool none the less.
Have to go to church today with the family. Ew. I'm not a religious person and I certainly don't believe in the Catholic faith. My family hasn't even gone to church in years. Wierd. Then I have to go to a family party with my dad's side of the famliy. My mom's family's party is tomorrow. Too much family.
Doug just invited me to go to Hershey for a few days. I think I'm gonna go. I wish I could be in Flordia for New Year's and all, cuz that would be more fun then anything , but I certainly can't afford to fly down there, (My $400 car insurance bill is now a $600 car insurance bill...and I have $28 to my name!) and I don't want to spoil Chris' time with Bobby Tholander...ooooohh bobby tholander! (hahaha j/k babe!!)
Well time to go get dressed so I can go praise God for sending us his one and only son (even though Jesus WASN'T born in december!!!).
