Tonight we had a full dress rehearsal for our "Musical Extravaganza" concert tomorrow. I've been back and forth all week between excited and nervous about some of the material. But tonight when we ran the entire show with the choirs and everything, it just felt AWESOME. And I took a look at the others in the musical theater workshop with me and felt bonded to them tonight... even though some of them are high school teens and young adult college students... and college professors and other community members... it felt like a solid group. Nice to feel a belonging in a solid group who LOVES to sing like I do. But... our concert/show... is 2 1/2 hours long! I told Kirk he didn't have to come because asking him to sit through a concert that long when I don't even sing in the first half... that would be his idea of hell. Large crowds make him REALLY anxious... and there are other shows he can go to instead. He sat through "Charlie Brown" last year and he had to bolt after he was done because he just couldn't handle the crowd any longer. So yeah... LONG concert but we totally KICK ASS!
