... just got a call from Steve. He's a friend of Ivan's who took a lot of surplus snakes off my hands last season. Anyways.... he has a motley granite female he's either wanting to breed or trade for some males. Turns out he has a lot of females and NO males. Now, I talked with him for a bit and here's what we have worked out thus far. He's going to bring over his three female adults this evening and we are going to pair them up with the males of breeding size that I have. We'll see what kind of deal we each get from that... not sure. Now, I'm not certain but I think I am going to get to keep the motley granite female as part of the deal and he may take some of my younger surplus males off my hands. That might be nice... and I've even offered up my butter female since I no longer have my caramel male to pair her with. I may even give him Theia my ghost female as I don't really want or need to breed her back to her brother Dirk. So..... we'll see what we manage to work out this evening. I also told him I have a male normal corn with some unknown hets that he can have as well. I think that's about it for thinning out my herd really. Everyone else I really intend to keep.
Its a wait till after school and see what transpires kind of day I guess. Good thing I have my evening free.
