Snake updates...
... OK. Sneaky finally passed while I was away in MT. Lee called and told me and took care of the burial etc. He's such a good bf. He buried him at the base of a tree in my backyard where he wouldn't be disturbed and could go back to the earth in peace. That was a nice thought.
Athena was not ready to breed as I had hoped. She and Fei Lien just sort of hung out and stared at each other. Oh well. Wish I would have asked daireen if I could have borrowed him to take home with me for a few months.... I have the space. But then again, that would have meant having him at my Grandmother's house for a few days and having him travel in the car long distances as well. Oh well. So I fear there will be no anerys or ghost corns this season. Meh.
Isis however was ready to go and has been bred to a snake called Zoomy. He's a coral snow corn who belongs to my friend Kiera (ps, is she on LJ? I need to add her to my friend base). It was nearly immediate mating. So, I should have snow corns this season for certain! YAY!
In other breeding news, I have not had any other breeding hook-ups yet but plan to keep trying with my lavendar and het. lavendar. I am starting to wonder if my lavendar male Horus is really a male. I firgure he is.... and Pandora is just being stubborn.... like almost all my other females. *sigh* The joys of breeding snakes.
