Observations from this weekend....

.... a bedroom truly is a sanctuary for the soul when its organized and clean and decorated in a style or with the things important to person.  Lee redid his bedroom complete with his new full sized bed and he is SO much happier now its unbelievable.  And it just proves the point.  When I rearranged my bedroom about a month ago, the same kind of thing happened.  And now that my room is chaotic and messy again, I just don't want to do anything.  Time to purge and organize and clean in the hopes of recreating my sanctuary.  Lee is once again inspiration.  I adore that boy.
.... jazz is awesome.  It lifts my spirit and brings me into a new sense of balance.  Plus, alot of the greatest jazz recordings out there are of Broadway show tunes that have inspired jazz and blues singers... how awesome is that?
....  doing the theater laundry is an absolutely tedious and thankless job.  I have been bitched out more times because of the damn laundry this weekend than any other things I have ever done wrong.  And lord knows, I so WANTED to do the laundry.  I just jumped up and down when I was told I was bestowed with that priviledge. *sarcasm*  I'm about ready to shove their clean laundry in an uncomfortable place.
.... organization will set you free.  I am finding this out the more I clean, purge, and organize all my things.  I have a TON of stuff I just don't need.  Good lord, if Lee ever wanted to move in (not that we are to that stage nor even talking about it... and he needs to live on his own first) I'm not certain where I'd put him.  Sheesh.  I need to clean my place....
