After this morning's review of the job ads, I took a few hours off. I have a brand new 100 page 9x12 sketchbook from Pearl Paint's excellent back to school sale. The sale is on until September 30th, so I may check the web site and go back for a larger sketch book for my drawing board. I spent a little time this evening checking out professional and fan art for Batgirl, Wonder Woman and Princess Tiana, even though I'm still working my way through Glen Keane's production sketches for TANGLED. I think one of the smaller library branches has the Disney Princess sketchbook I'm looking for, but no point in checking that out until I make more progress on the other stuff. It's been a while since I've drawn Harley Quinn or Poison Ivy, so maybe I'll start scoping out some more Bruce Timm sketches.
I plan to spend this weekend with a couple of technical books at the library. Not much else is going on.
