This week has been largely devoted to going through my receipts, and today I started printing out financial statements for 2010. Electronic delivery of my 1099's and retirement account statements makes things go so much faster. I'm still waiting for a couple of W2's that will be sent via snail mail, but that's no big deal. As long as they arrive by the end of the month, I can schedule my appointment with my tax person for early February and cross this off my list.
I've been watching Modern Family, based on
yahtzee63's recommendation, and it is hilarious! I also started watching Big Bang Theory on dvd with a friend. I caught up and started watching the current season last month. It seems to me that many sitcoms on tv aren't actually funny, so I usually wait for a rec, because sitcoms that aren't funny are an abomination unto me. V is back from hiatus, and has won me over with stunt casting. Fringe and Supernatural switching to the same time slot is not a problem, since my computer is also a dvr. Take that, tv execs!
Not much else is going on. I still need to go through all the pictures I took on my recent trip to Copenhagen. My brother and SIL gave me prints of my new niece as a present, and I think I have a couple of empty frames I can fill with them. The rest will probably be part of a refrigerator mosaic with my other niece.
I still have a lot of reading to get through from all the books I bought during O'Reilly's cyber Monday ebook sale. I'm sure I'll be dreaming in jQuery real soon now. My replacement printer is working as expected. I need to check the FedEx web site to make sure Epson received the defective one. Thank goodness I was still under warranty, so my budget didn't have to take a hit.
