PICS OF ISAAC & DIANA (MY ADOPTED DOGS)

Isaac's got to get treated for heart worm on Wednesday. It's a 2 month process with a couple of overnight stays for observation. They have to inject him with some kind of poison that will kill the worm slowly, not fast because it could clog up his heart if it dries up and dies too fast. The vet says it's not bad and not far along, he's probably had it for 6 months and they caught it in time so he should be ok. Keep him in your prayers, I know I will. He's got an excellent team of vets who know what they're doing. They're such sweet dogs (a little too hyperactive and friendly, but sweet). Now he's got heart worms and it could've been prevented had the shelter hired a vet to look at all of the dogs there. And Diana has to be spayed next week, Isaac can't get neutered because the vet said he could flat out die if he undergoes any surgery with his heart in that condition. And it ticks me off at how that animal shelter they were in didn't take good care of them. But apparently they "don't have that kind of money or staff to do all of that and what you see is what you get" was what I was told when I called the shelter the other week. Those punks!
